Actually, I was just checking out some pretty comprehensive instructions on searay.com. Click on "service", and instructions for canvas care and cleaning are under "canvas installation".

Assuming the canvas is Sunbrella..... they recommend 303 products for refreshing the water repellency (High Tech Fabric Guard). If you read the HTFG bottle it recommends using the 303 canvas cleaner prior to application of the HTFG product. My experience is that the clean and HTFG both work great and truly renew the water repellency of the Sunbrella. Curing the HTFG is interesting... the warmer the better. According to the website the faster it dries... the better it bonds. Helpful links -->
