i am in the process of outfitting my 2002 280da. i am curious about things others have found that they cant live with or without. (wives and girlfriends go without saying)

i am hoping to shorten the learning curve of items needed for weekend stays on the boat!

thanks in advance!

With out my Coleman Coffee Maker. In the Cabin, or on the beach. Add water and coffee press a button and WHAM I have coffee. ( as long as the butane is not empty).

Beer
Cigar
Spare Sunglasses
Ice Maker (Just got one and I know it is going to do good by me)
couple of spare blankets
couple of spare sweat shirts
bottle opener
cooler

Cannot live with:

People wearing shoes that scuff
that don't control their kids
my wifes hot friend wearing a one-piece
red-wine
people who flush things the shouldn't
people who want to help but don't know how and put themselves in danger trying

12 volt DVD player and flatscreen TV. Hardtop and helm A/C.

I added heat aboard our boat with a hydronic heater. It extends our season and makes trips like this upcoming weekend possible. Other things we "can't live without". A down comforter, cold beer for me my Bride likes wine.

For you Big Life......a good divorce attorney

Don't be bitter. He's just getting started.

Those two very large LL Bean bags filled to the top and then some and they weigh at least 100lbs each. You need those so I am not the only guy who's wife brings them so she can take out the following:
1. Swim suit but brings 4 or 5 each time
2. Towels enough for every boater on the Chesapeake Bay, however, she does use one sometimes two.
3. Extra clothes besides what she wore to the boat.
4. Books. She loves to read. Bought her the Kindle for Christmas and she sent it back and got the Nook.
5. Enough sun screen stuff to protect the entire planet.

Oh, and that is just for a day trip.

Coffee maker
Plenty of Ice (dry ice helps keep it frozen)
plenty of towels
good music
plenty of the proper beverages
a decent camera for priceless photos
screw the TV unless you have young children
Wife & Girlfriend as long as they get along
Friends as long as they have their own boat
bucket & scrub brush to keep her clean
time to relax and enjoy

Not to be without:
binoculars
phone charger that stays on the boat
a stock of non-perishable food products
spare propane for the grill
rain gear
spare case of beer

Coffee Maker
Ice Maker
Music
Air Conditioning
Gin, Tonic , Champagne, my favourite sparkling water
