Can't get her started!!!

Just trying to start my 1993 200 for the first time this season. I know, getting a late start but I've been busy with work etc. Here are the details, it is a 4.3 LX with dual batteries. When I turn the key I get a clicking noise out of the slave solenoid. I can jump the terminals on the starter solenoid itself and get the starter to crank. Where is the next place to look in the electrical system.:huh:

Weak batteries more than likely.

Remove battery terminal clamps, clean and replace tightly. Charge batteries, try the starter. No go, have the batteries load tested, replace as indicated.:thumbsup:

I only jumpered the solenoid terminals to see if the starter would run and rule out that as the problem.

Have already cleaned the terminals and put my battery charger on them. There is enough juice in the system to run the starter, but when the ignition switch is turned to the crank position, there is only a click sound on the slave solenoid. I thought that was the problem, so I replaced it this morning, but still acts the same way.

Looks like you have a 50amp breaker. Looks like a push button style. See #21 here.

..........then again I don't think you would get a click from the solenoid if that tripped
