For anyone with a Cannon downrigger.
I almost lost my downrigger a couple weeks ago, the low profile Cannon lexan base plate where the pull to rotate handle cracked. If your using one give Cannon a call they shipped a brand new design with an aluminum plate that fits over the 4 mounting bolts that won't allow the downrigger to go overboard.
Please no comments about buy a Scotty.....
It's called Plate, Base, Top Swivel Base Kit 3881958
They shipped it out free of charge USPS Priority Mail.
