I pulled a harness worth of wires out from under the dash of my boat a couple weeks ago. It seems the more I remove the better the boat runs! PO was a DIY guy but not a good one.

I can identify that wire, it is a fuse with which to blow the boat up with...

Probably what the bilge looks like on most of the boats that catch fire at the fuel dock...

as long as the screws used to mount the powerstrip to the fuel tank didn't penetrate too far....
