Hello everone,
I'm excited to be a part of this Sea Ray lovin group!! I'm new at all of this forum stuff and still learning my way around the sight so please bare with me lol. I have a 1977 SR-V200 that I truly LOVE! Its been a great boat! Like ALL Sea Ray's right?! I actually just aquired this boat from my Grandfather who has passed and I want the boat live on.
It is in exceptionally good shape. No rott and very solid. Some new seats, carpet and a good wax and I've got a new boat  oh.... All except the engine and outdrive that is  So i'd like to know if any one out there has reworked the transome and repowered there classic Sea Ray with a modern set up? She is powered with a Ford/OMC 351w and I think its the 800 stringer outdrive. I was thinking at least a new power trim and tilt outdrive would be a very nice upgrade. Any advice (besides "get a new boat") would be much appreciated!
Thanks Drew
