One of my engines is hard to start and I am getting a TPS system fault read out. Is this something I can change myself? If so, how do I find the TPS? Are any special tools or knowledge needed? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes it can be done DIY, no problem. Assuming the 6.2 has the same plastic covers as the 5.0, you remove the cover on top of the air cleaner. It will be on the side of the TB. It's just a couple of screws holding it on plus an electrical connector. In theory it doesn't need any adjustment. It works like a volume knob where the more you increase the throttle, the more the throttle plate opens, and the higher the voltage of the TPS.

Mine died on my Silverado last year and left me stranded on the side of the highway. Good times!

I looked through my MPI engine pics but I couldn't find any that shows the TPS (clear enough).

Thank you Phil for your input. You were right on the money. I easily found the throttle position sensor, removed it and brought it to my local auto parts store. They found the needed replacement and now the engine starts perfectly. I hope I can be this helpful to other members here.
