Can a 2007 320 with dual controls shifters be BIII's?

Well I didn't know this either. I always assumed that boats with the separate controls had v-drives.

Funny story. When I was searching for my 320 I came across an ad for the boat we ended up with and saw a picture of the helm. I called the dealer and said "no way it has Bravo drives, there are two sets of levers and this must be a v-drive boat". He said "well come on over to the dealership and I will prove it to you". Sure enough it had drives and sure enough that was the boat we bought.

My neighbor has a 2006 300 dancer and he has the combo shifter/throttle on the right. Not sure why 320s are set up different then the 300s.

Exactly the same for me with my BII's - I much prefer the ability to indepentantly control gear, throttle around the slip - and power trim when needed.
I have B3s with the controls in your second picture. I dock just using the controls, no steering wheel. I like the combined shifter/throttle. If a wind comes along or I need to give it some gas, my hand is already there.

To each there own, and Lazy Daze you make a good point. I never had an issue with the mechanical linkage, but when my wife's wrists were acting up she had a hard time putting it in gear without applying some throttle.

I could never get the mechanical cable shifters on my 280DA to operate smoothly. I often overshot the throttle when docking. The DTS on my 330 is smooth and effortless. The only issue is I dialing in the RPMs when cruising. It's so sensitive the RPMs seem to wander and the slightest adjustment makes a big change..

The separate controls are nice controls and operate smoothly. Some of the older Merc controls are not very smooth in my mind. My dad's Amberjack has the separate controls are nice quality and operate smoothly with Bravo III's.

I was under the same impression that duel controllers ment v drives. I have 2008 310 with vdrives and single controls DTS. Has anyone seen a boat with duel control DTS?
