I have a 95 SeaRay 370 with somewhat new 8.1 engines and I believe zf hurth trans. 200 hours on engines
today it ran great until the end of the day. I got an alarm for starboard only. (Just audible alarm)
It only came on from 1100 rpm to 1500 rpm. Boat ran fine regardless
I tried the boat in neutral and no alarm at all. As soon as I try it in fwd or rev at those rpms it came on again. All I had to do was drop it to idle and alarm would stop. OR I can just run it at 1600 rpm or higher and no alarm
this tells me it’s the trans. Only happens in gear, not neutral!! Has to be trans right?
I happen to have a new trans temp sensor so I changed it out. No luck! I didn’t think that was it anyway since no alarm at over 1600 rpm or idle
fluid level seemed fine. It wasn’t at the highest line but not at the lowest either. Right in between
I’m stumped on this one. Hoping you guys can give me some suggestions
