We are looking to have a camper enclosure custom made for our '05 320 DA.

Just looking for some idea pics, canvas up and down pics; hardware/framework pics.

Thanks so much.

Perhaps look through the boats for sale ads on the Internet. Do a search on 320's  Tho, I believe the canvas packages on many other types of Sea Ray's would give you an idea

Here are some pics of my 280 from last month. I really don't like driving with the camper up though. The isenglass is too obscured for my liking -- I can hardly make out the buoys on my lake. I drive bare naked (canvas-wise) and take all of the canvas and supports off as in my signature pic.

And with everything folded up....

Get them to use Strataglass, it is crystal clear, that is what the enclosure on my 185 is made out of.

320 Fastback Camper Canvas for sale

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a Tan colored Taylor Made Fastback camper canvas for sale. Highest bidder takes it. Will fit 04-05 Tan 320 SDA

Just be careful with CO levels with the Camper up while running. Hijack...Midway, holy smokes, is that your lake levels now??

Stan...I think there was another member with a 320DA that had new canvas made. I think it may have been SB in GP. Maybe he will chime in or see if you can find some of his pics.

Jeff hope all is well with you and your family.

Thanks for the tip and thanks to SB in GP for chiming in. Wow that looks nice and very clean.

Looked at some new SR's while in Lake of the Ozarks last weekend. Omigosh, talk about nice, I think the 52 DA was our pick. Or maybe it was the 54! At any rate the Admiral quickly picked up on the excitement of more space. She went directly to the MM parts and inquired about a camper enclosure!!!! She is soooooo smart! Figure she'll appease me with a $4K enclosure!!!

Any way I've been in contact with Straightline Canvas and am awaiting a quote. Jay Guant, owner, will come down here for a few days and measure and sew and install it while she, Annie Laurie, is sitting in the slip!!!!

I'll keep you posted and will be sure to post pics.

Stan...good luck with the new project. Post some pics when you get it completed. The family is all doing well....busy as ever. I have seen the 52DA at LOTO, but have not seen the 54DA yet, but have seen the pics online. The boat was winterized this week..so we are done for the season. Take care....

My biggest recommendation is to pay for higher quality glass, especially on the front above the windshield. We went the the Makrolon on the 3 front pieces and the visibility is as good as real glass. We never take it down. I went to dinner with a friend on his newer 33DA with the original isenglass on the front, and the visibility at night was downright dangerous. The way these boats are setup, you really need to be able to see out of that glass above the windshield when underway. I think it should be a standard feature.

You do need to be careful with CO2 coming into the enclosure when underway with the camper up.

sb in gp: Arkansas is a bit hotter and as much as I would love to keep the front glass up all year, I think it would get too hot. We are very cognizant of the CO problem. Any time I have the enclosure up, I have a portable CO detector in the cockpit.

If I am not prying, what was the cost for your canvas redo? Maybe I can talk the Admiral into redoing the front as well;)
