Calling all 360 DA owners

I'm interested in knowing how many 360 DA owners are on CSR, in case I want to direct questions your way using PMs. I am aware of Two Peas, PMvdb395DA (Peter), My3Sons and BOZ. Any others? Is there enough of us for an "official 360 thread"?

Another 360 owner here (2005)

Loving the 360! I've upgraded & repaired so much the past two seasons I'll have her for a few years for sure.

I just got done swapping out the 6.5 Speakers to Wet Sounds brand OMG!!!! What a difference, from stock they weren't cheap but they will blow you away.

John...did you change the amp and head unit? Got any pics?

I'm using a Fusion 700 MS AV700I and upgraded the amps to the Fusion MS-DA51600 5 channel amp and a FM-402 2 Channel Amp earlier in the season and was using some 150 watt Clarion speakers and it was good, until I changed the speakers to the Wet Sounds with spacers and now its over the top! Not that it is any real gauge but now I have the volume level up 1/4 of the way where before I had to have it at 3/4 for the same sound level.

Thanks Jeff, Yeah honestly I'm AMAZED! Its that much of a difference and I'm a sound / tech guy lol.

What is everyone's take on the round shower door in the head? Is this a useful feature? Are there known problem with it sliding or falling out of the tracks? I'm shopping between 340s and 360s and not sure if the door is a must have or a headache.

I like the sliding shower door. It was actually one of the things that sold my wife on the 360. Web used it a fair amount and haven't had any issues with it. It's nice not having to towel off everything after your shower.

We love the shower doors. We have had our 360 since 2011. We like the way it keeps the rest of the head from getting wet. I wax the doors about once a year and we squeegee after using. We have had zero issues with the doors. The 360 is a great boat.

My doors were a little awkward to closed but after cleaning out the tracks and squirting some liquid silicone in there, they work great. A good option to keep the head dry.

Shower door was a selling point, and works extremely well. Keeps the rest of the head dry, and is easy to clean.
Love everything about this boat so far. Performance. Livability. Etc. Unfrotunatly, season was too short for me this year (didn't purchase until August). Getting ready to pull for the winter in a couple of weeks. Will be working on the fridge over the winter, buff and wax, etc.
Quick question on the interior overhead lights. I have one of the small lights over the galley that has pulled away from the head liner. I cannot push it back in to place. Any idea how these are attached to the head liner?

Hey Gents,

A silly question, but I got into a conversation about the two electrical connections and which one or both to use for winter trickle storage. I'm planning on using a 110 to 30 amp converter and plug it in for a few days a month to keep her up to snuff. Whats you take on it?

John, Where was the placement of the amp you upgraded? (any pics). Did you also replace the woofer. I'm asking because the the original equipment I have seems to be dying a slow death. The woofer sounds horrible as do the speakers in the cockpit. The inside cabin speakers sound good.

LOL Sorry I didn't take pics of the new ones yet. I'll grab some but they are both behind the lower electrical panel on the left side bulkhead. Here's some bad pics of the old ones. I put my 10" subwoofer right next to the captains chair because he pays the bills LOL!!

Regarding the trickle charge - I plan on doing the same. With everything shut down on the panel, the batteries should have zero drain in them. However, my once a month charge should suffice till spring.

I did the Fusion Wired Remote NRX-200 .

I'm in the process of relocating it to the stern seating area. I just haven't gotten the perfect spot yet. I've been using mostly the app which works great.

I'll grab some pics of the Fusion amplifiers in the next week or so, looks like were coming on the hard this week for the winter season. UGGG!

As for the disconnecting of the batteries, do you just do it behind the panel? I didnt think of that I was actually thinking about taking them off at the batteries themselves but then was thinking about how to top them off over the winter. I was going to use a shore power plug and a converter and just feed it off a portable generator every few weekends but now I'm not sure. Maybe its time to get serious about those fold-able solar panels.

goodcall, If you want some suggestions on speaker and amp placement look at this website. www.earmarkcaraudio.com click on to Installations, Marine Photos then look towards bottom of list for Sea Ray Gallery and then find Sea Ray 360. I no longer own this boat but purchased it new and had this installation performed in 2003. May give you some clues about how and/or where to place upgrades.
