Calling all 360 DA owners

Okay, I need help. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to pull the TV out in the galley. It appears to be dead, and I can't figure out how to get to the back of the unit. It would appear that you push the rail system that it's on, and it would then slide out. But no luck. Is there a secret hand shake that I'm missing?

Did you figure out how to remove the TV?

Does anyone know where the cockpit ice bucket drains to( the one behind the captains chair)? I couldn't find the plumbing diagram for it.

Nope. Salesman even tried. It would appear that something is blocking the track of the TV.
Still having an issue with this? I have removed my TV on my 2005 360DA and replaced it with a flat screen, so I am familiar with the construction.

Are you simply trying to pull the TV out on it's tracks, or are you trying to remove the TV entirely? (Is the solenoid actuating which releases the TV to slide out on the tracks?)

I am trying to remove the unit. The T.V. is not working and I wanted to replace it. When I push the SR labeled latch, it will move back about .5 inches and will not release forward. It would appear that the unit should then slide forward, correct?

I'm still not 100% clear what you are pulling on. There is a metal "handle" right under the TV that has the SR logo on it. I'll assume that's what you're push/pull on. On my boat, there is an electric solenoid that needs to be energized in order to release the TV to slide out. To energize the solenoid you have to push on a button which is kind of disguised, in between the two electric switches in the middle of galley area. Push and hold that button while you pull on the metal "handle." TV should slide out and you'll see it's mounted on a sort of "box" which has some storage capacity.

If that doesn't work, then the solenoid may not be working. In that case there is likely some surgery required to get to the solenoid. I ended up drilling a hole under my solenoid so that I could reach into the storage area below the TV, insert a rod upward to manually open the latch. Just in case it ever fails on me. It hasn't.

Hope that helps. Let me know if it does/does not work.

I just went to the boat today and tried pushing the button between the vent and galley light switch. I pushed the button and pulled on the SR handle. Nothing...

Okay, just figured out why it did and did not work... The entertainment breaker must be in the on position before you press the unlabled button between the power vent and galley light. I knew there was a secret hand shake!! I have now discovered that the T.V. does work, but the DVD player does not.

Hi everyone, I am new to this Form having just recently purchased a 2003 360. We are enjoying the boat very much, using it as much as we can.
we are having a problem with the built in freezer in the salon. The outside wall of the freezer closest to the fridge is always sweating with enough water seeping into the drawer below it. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?
Thanks
Mike Souliere

Thanks for your input on my freezer issue. I must admit that we haven't been running the air conditioner on a regular basis because of the unusual cooler wether we have been experiencing. We have never been comfortable leaving the air on and leaving the boat for a few days. I know it's the same system but what if we turned on the de-humidification cycle? I also noticed that there is some condensation water around the bottom half of the freezer door seal. Could this be the root of the problem? Have you ever changed the freezer door seal? If I can get one from the manufacturer does anyone have any installation tips?
Thanks,
Mike Souliere

I can't speak to the cooler weather, as we are now in July and are averaging the mid to upper 90's. When I left mine in the de-humidification cycle only, I noticed the same condensation issue you described. When I keep it on 75, I have no issues. Perhaps give it a try and see.

I would suggest you put a thermometer in the freezer and see if you are setting it much colder than necessary. I had this problem with the condensation until I found out I was setting it way too cold. Dialing up the temp to about zero to 10 degrees F made the problem go away. Let me know if this helps!

I put a thermometer in the freezer, when we purchased it two years ago. I remember posts about the freezer being very cold. It seems that when I barely turn my dial on, it is around zero.

Thanks to everyone who has provided input on the freezer issue. We did go out and got a thermometer and have dialled down the temperature to -10. It was higher than that. Will have to see how this will play out. As I also suspected the door seal, today we cleaned it up with some silicon which seemed to relax the seal and hope it will make a better seal. Got to admit this little freezer can sure get very cold. I will let everyone know the outcome after a week or so.
