1988 300. hinges are recessed into the wood. Anyone know where to get these. One part slides into another.

Don't know about 1988 models. If you can post a picture it would help.
On the newer SR they use a standard European 25mm hinge. Blum is one of the brand names. You can also try searching one of the woodworking supply houses, like Rockler that sells a lot to the DIY/hobby woodworking crowd.

I found replacements at Ace or Lowes. I don't remember WHICH ones, but they fit in the same holes and screw holes so I didn't have to drill anything. I also saw them listed somewhere else too. A place in Michigan that had them where I ordered the plastic gray covers for the exterior of the sliding windows. I believe it was yachtbasinmarina.com. Ask for Derek!

Try FlounderPounder (Google it). They sell lots and lots of older, used sea ray parts.
