The contents of this cabinet must have shifted, and the roller door is stuck closed!
I tried wiggling, shaking, pounding on it etc for 20 minutes - so frustrating!

Has anyone had this problem?
How did you get it open?

Thanks in advance!

What happens with the roller doors is sometime an object will wedge into the area where it rolls up, and block the roller. If you can reach in from the top or another compartment and pull out the obstruction the door will open.

Same here what PINA!!!!! something is stuck

I can't open it more than about an inch, and there are no adjoining compartments to reach from.
Guess I'll try a coat hanger :smt013

Unless you can reach it with the coat hanger/etc. you need to find a way to get whatever is jammed in there to move. You could always go jump a few big wakes to see if you can dislodge it. :)

I like the way ya think

If you have a auto mechanic buddy or a plumber buddy ask to borrow their "scope camera"…You could see what the problem is if you have a 1 inch opening.

Scope? If you can get it open an inch shoot a picture with your smart phone to see what you are up against... They all laughed at my iphone 6 plus here that size would come in handy!

Other then that the other ideas on what to try to get in there are great!!

I have one that I've been trying to open for a year. It won't even open a tiny bit. I keep hoping something will rattle loose when I hit a big wave. Maybe it's time to open it with a hammer! After all, my beer koozies are in there!

You can drill a tiny hole in the gap of the tambour and attempt to push whatever is in the way back?

It's not doing you any good closed. Might as well rip it out of there and invent a new door. Maybe Flounder Pounder has the doors???

Yeah, I was thinking of ripping it off and then building a new hinged wooden door that is similar to what is in the head. I haven't looked around for replacement rolling doors, but yeah, maybe Flounder Pounder has them.
