The steps down to the cabin are pretty steep on our 340.
Not for the people, but my wife's dog... He is a 14 lb rat terrier poodle mix, and there are times when he stands in the top of the cockpit looking down at the steps waiting for my wife to pick him up. Sometimes he waits, and sometimes he takes the whole drop in one giant leap! I don't think he like how slick the top threshold is with the long piece of stainless. Have you folks added anything to the top to improve the traction?
And what bout the steps?
Here is the little chicken (with the obligatory Sea Ray content)!

You could buy a small section of Seadek, cut to size and apply it to that threshold. I used some sheet Seadek to create a mat near the sink on a prior boat. It's very easy to work with and definitely grippy. Can also be had in colors that will work with just about any boat.

It's not super easy to see but it's the black stuff in the photo below.

As a non permanent solution for the steps when I bring my dog, I bought precut stair tread Berber carpet pieces that are rubber backed from Home Depot along with some utility clamps (came in a mesh bag of 15-20). It’s a one minute process to clamp them on and off as needed and they easily hold up to a day of the family going up and down without any issues. The pieces are rectangular and lay on the curved steps nicely.
