Does anyone know if the newer roller trucks (with the ball bearings) are useable replacements for the older trucks. I had one lose a wheel over the weekend and want to buy a replacement.

I know Flounder Pounder offers replacement trucks for these doors. There are several sizes.

I found those but is says if your existing trucks dont have ball bearings then you need to but new tracks. I dont want to buy tracks...just the trucks.
As I recall when I was looking at these for a friend several months ago, the older style are no longer available so you have to convert to the newer track and truck. Maybe you can find some old stock somewhere.

I believe the track types were changed in the mid-late 90's. If you have a 2001 there should be a better than good chance you already have the new tracks.

I have what sound/acts like a broke truck. It looks like a huge job to change them out on mine.... complete dash removal, and possibly windshield removal to re-seal the dash? :huh:

My trucks and tracks look like the new style but the wheels are all plastic and dont appear to have the ball bearings so i'm not sure if the new ones on flounder or boat outfitters will work. They would be an easy replacement if they will work.

Just spoke with boat outfitters and the guy said the styles changed in '96. He said he was positive these would work on my '01. Guess ill order two.
