So my C80 has the original circa-2005 maps on it. I'd like to get current. All my boating is done on Lake Michigan.
I called Navionics today, and they suggested going with their "Navionics Update" offering http://www.navionics.com/en/navionicsupdates-1 . I see that BOE has it http://www.boemarine.com/navionics-update-micro-sd/ - and the description seems to match.
He said so long as you have any old Navionics mapping card (which I do, original factory raymarine) - that you can purchase this $99 card/kit that will come with either a CF or MSD card (I'd need the CF -> MSD adapter if I got the MSD) - and you can load on what maps you require.
Does this seem right? All the Navionics stuff I see is WAY more expensive.
