Hi All,
Any new updates for the C-Phone in my 500DA that you have done to yours? How do you use yours? Do you still use it? Where did you get rj-11 style phones? That sort of thing.
I still have the manual, and it looks like it does a lot of stuff. The old Analog Cellular phone is obsolete but looks like there is other stuff like room to room, fog horn, etc.

Thank you,
Dave

I took most of mine out. LOL Seriously i did remove it. I turned the power switch on a few times and and a minute or two it beeped and powered itself down ??? Im curious to see if anyone else is using theres.

I have phones in the GSR, MSR, salon, and bridge that are strictly room to room intercoms - no cellular interface. I will admit that I rarely use it. I’ve called the salon from the bridge a few times with it while underway to ask my wife to bring something up on her next trip, but honestly it’s just easier to text her.

My Raymarine VHF/Hailer has a fog horn feature that sounds through the loudspeaker on the hardtop. I have used that a few times.

RJ-11 phones can be purchased on Amazon or your local Ace Hardware for about $10 each.
