There are several good threads on HIN's if you do a searh here for SERT.

(I'd post the link if I could figure out how from this tablet)

sert5958f787

SER = Sea Ray Boats
T = produced in the Knoxville facility
5958 = a rolling number for Sea Ray accounting purposes that has no significance to anyone else
F = month of manufacture, so your boat was built in June
7 = year of manufacture, so your boat was built in 1987
87 = model year for which your boat was produced.

The lower number is a production number that is only useful when discussing your particular boat with Sea Ray or a dealer. The last 3 digits is the production no. for your boat.

:smt038thank u for the info its a great hep ..also are alpa one mercs a good engine

Alpha 1 is the outdrive... they have been around a long time.
I tried to look up the boat to check engine options but don't see a "270 sedan bridge sports fisher" for 1987. There is an Amber Jack and a Hard Top in the 270's.

thank u once again the info gets better please tell me how to upload a picture of the boat to u and i will

here is a picture of the boat i hope to purchase
