Buying '08 290 Amberjack V-Drives

Hi all
Hoping to get any feedback from AJ owners. Hoping deal is done in the AM. Survey is lined up. Buying boat in FL and having it shipped to me in CT. I am coming from a single I/o so I am sure this will be much easier around the dock, boat has a bow thruster as well. Plan to fish and cruise family of 5 (kids 10, 6, 4) thanks for any feedback or what to be on look out for during inspection.

i have the 2000 model year of that boat. It has been great for our family. I doubt you will ever need the bow thruster, but good to have i guess. Any specific questions?

My dad has a 2002 - 290 Amberjack with Bravo - III's - nice boat. His doesn't have a generator. If yours has a generator and V drives - I suspect the bilge is crowded. Based on how crowded my 320 is in the bilge. It is a great boat and takes rough water really well.

I have a 2001 that I have owned for 2 years. Great family boat. A little short on rod storage but is a solid boat with a smooth ride. Make sure you get the engines analyzed. If they are 5.7's they work pretty hard.
