Build Photos of our New 36DB

Are you getting ANOTHER 36DB or is the one you currently have. How'd you get pix? Where do they build the 36DB?

Great shots. I love the one of the deck and superstructure with no hull!

Awesome... Yes gets u tru the winter for sure. I didnt know the 36 had straight shafts ..

Make sure u get more pics as she goes down the line.... U get to learn alot on how she goes together!!!

Bests of luck

Our current 36 is a 2007 gas power. We are going into the same boat but with Cummins power. We were putting lots of hours on the gas boat, we wanted a faster and more economical cruise, more safety while on the boat, and a great deal was to be had through MarineMax.

Right now, a boat with a bigger draft (greater than 40") would be tricky to get to our dock. The 36 fits our needs perfectly, so we stuck with what worked.

That's great! What happens to the gasser? Did MM take it back from you? Where are they building it?

Great Pictures. Best of luck with the new boat

All "real" boats have straight shafts....

LOL... I was just surprised to see it in a 36.... And yes i do agree ... Its all better with a straight shaft....

My shaft is very straight.....it's my tranny that has this wierd bend to it...

I really like the hardtop. She's going to be a beauty!

Straight inboards are the only way to go. Props and shafts have been known to fall right out from under a boat. How you get to the leak makes the difference between a limp home or a swim home.

nice shots...i never knew my boat came in two parts...a top and bottom.....thats what those clumps of caulking are for...

Nice shots. It must be fun to see your boat being built.

Regarding straight shafts VS real boat, gee....I had to come over the fact that I did'nt have a real boat because it is a gasser and now I have to live with the fact that it has V-drives.....you guys are tough.... ;-) :)

I like the first picture of the ER with no floor in place yet.
If it could only be like that when the time comes to service the stuff down there...

Congrats on the upgrade! Can't wait to see your new boat on the bay his summer  Still going to have the underwater lights?
