Buffing? Polishing?

I know everywhere on here the suggestion is compound with a orbital. Then polishing.

i have a 18 foot searay fiberglass/gel coat and was wondering if there is any alternative to get rid of oxidation and bring back that shine besides hours of machine buffing?

Pone more thing, what will pressure washing it do?

Wet sand first
