I used buff magic this weekend on my black hull. All I can say is wow! This stuff works amazingly well. It took out 90% of all the little micro scratches I had and made it look new again. Now to polish and wax.

I have used buff magic for years and it works great. Its a degrading grit so that the longer you work it the higher the polish. Works great on both the rotary with a wool pad for a higher cut or a DA with a foam pad for lighter oxidization removal. The key to to only use a little - to much will just gum up the pads quickly.

Just curious so how much are you putting on a wool pad when you say little?

I try to follow their instructions working in a confined area of approx 2x2 (I stretch that a bit to get more work done). I just use a chip brush and paint on a couple of X marks in the area and starting with the pad down I spread it a little at slow speeds then increase the speed. Here is a good video of the process if you have not seen it already.

That is what I did. I followed the video instructions. No issues with the wool pads loading up.

I should revisit buff magic, I have two containers mostly full because I had poor results when I tried it with their DA years ago but it was a job really in need of a rotary.

I do love it as a metal polish I must admit

BM seems to works well with the DA to remove light surface oxidation and defects but hit it with a rotary with a wool pad and it really brings out the shine.

Looks great. This spring used I Buff Magic along with their Pro Polis Wax. Great 1-2 combo.
