Bud Light

I am probably going to get tossed from Club Sea Ray over this. I am almost 70 yrs old, drinking Bud Light for I don't remember how long. I am a Republican and can't stand all this Woke crap and all the other disasters happening to MY country, it makes me sick. I tried switching to other beers like most of the Bud drinkers. I did not find one I liked, and I tried. So, my tired old ass has decided to go back to Bud. I figure they will survive on some level, maybe not number 1, but survive. Hate me if you want, I only got so many years left, I might as well enjoy my beer. Besides Inbev owns so many of the beers people have switched to. Do you carry your cash in the right pocket or the left pocket, still YOUR pocket. Rant done. :):)

You make your own choices. Good on you. I've decided we are born with a finite number of shits to give. As I get older and my inventory begins to dwindle, I don't give a shit near as often.

This has become my theme song.

That reminds me of terminology that my Dad shared with me many years ago when I was going thru a divorce. He told me I needed to learn and employ 'Constructive Apathy'. . .
My initial reaction was "Isn't that just about a contradiction of terms?" to which he replied,
"No . . . that is the ability to know when to not give a shit".

Oh wow! Absolutely! I hit that about age 58 - 60. It’s a gradual progression. Now I maxed out; I care about hitting the bullseye at the range, but not much else.

I'm 54 and have been there at least the past 4 or 5 years maybe longer.

Yeah, my give a shit list has gotten a lot shorter last few years. Pay attention and worry about what matters - I am learning most things don't matter. A buddy at work always says "Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff!"

Holy cow, I have underwear older than you.

I figure I’m probably at least 20 years younger than 80% of the members on this forum.

as long as the crust is at least 10 years newer I think you’re OK :D

Yea, have you seen her lately? If not look her up?

Yup....another one for @Stray Current ;)
