I was a little taken aback by some of the responses until realizing that most of the posters had not seen the gun thread. Had many of them seen that thread I don't think this thread would exist.

when somebody you trust obviously needs support, then you do what you can to help them. i know what you're saying about the wrong forum for grieving etc. very good points - hammer nails etc

but every social outlet is probably important to a person in Wayne's position.

i just don't think his "friends" should allow him to cut himself loose. we need to show we understand (as best we can) and care about him.

I agree, I have known Wayne for about 4 or 5 years and we have talked on the phone many a night. He is a person that will help anyone and I am glad to call him my friend.
