Well I've got a bucket list item in progress...

I get to drive this yacht North, from Palm Beach Florida with my buddy who is the boat's Captain....and I get paid to do it!

Updates to follow, we untie lines in a hour.

You plan on unfurling those sails? That's quite a vessel. Good luck and enjoy the ride!

That sounds like a great trip on a very nice boat. Please keep us updated with lots of pics and narrative as you make the trip.

Very cool! Following this thread.

Mark, that's awesome. Are you heading on the outside or taking the ICW?

What kind of yacht is it? Motorsailor?
Model is "Park isle 65" (its bigger than 65ft).
Its a single engine full displacement trawler, with no reverse gear.
The prop is controllable to get going backwards....weird.
The sails are only for steadying the ride but, could be a form of power if really necessary.

Hey Mark...You bringing the boat back to Stamford? Keep in touch, have fun and be safe...see you in Ziegler's!!

Hey when we pulled out there was a 65 Fly sighting!
Its laying in Sail Fish marina in Palm Beach....
No Rusty sighting but, a whole crew was washing her down.

This guy solo sailed from Spain.......and was get ready to sail back!
