Breaker not lighting

First, I'm a novice new boater. When I switch on my breaker in the cabin, the green light does not come on. I am trying to get my water pump working and think this may be the issue. The battery is on. Any suggestions of what else I might try? Thanks!

Be helpful to know what model boat you have. There is usually a water pump switch at the helm (dash).

Thanks MLauman. I have a 2000 Searay Sundancer. I don't think I have a switch at the helm but I'll check that out! Thanks for the input!

You will finds lots of good info here but.......even a novice should know what model of Sundancer they own as well as the engine info. You will get a better response once you enter this info in your signature.

Good point on the model Bel Mar Pointe. I didn't realize I didn't put that it is a 240 Sundancer. I've corrected that. As for the engine info, I'm at work and don't know that off hand. Thought better to leave blank for now than to put in wrong info.
