Bravo III Trim Cylinders Stuck Opposite

Hope your lines are ok, they can be a bear as the flare fittings corroded. If you are close enough, stop buy with some wrenches and some PB blaster or the like and see what you have ahead of yourself.
Even if the fittings aren’t corroded, the threads can be very difficult to line up properly. Be careful as you can strip them easily trying to get them started.

Sure enough -- SEI is back-ordered on just the port side one that I need

Thought you had 0 movement, so why do you think just 1 piston?

I have several things to try when I'm there next -- I just got the 2 cylinders since I might as well replace them as a pair. If I can get the stuck one down, I will do that for now.

Bummer. Just looked and nothing on fleabay (or Craigslist) either. Argh

I could not get the cylinder to contract even with the line disconnected and hit with a BFH

Up trim did not work so I replaced both solenoids

Then i extended the other cylinder all the way out to match

I raised the drive up by hand all the way and supported it with wood

Then I put the pin back in, connected both rams and added the hardware

I tried trim down and it struggled for a sec but the stuck ram broke free and the drive came all the way back down

Success !!!

Well, sure enough

I resolved it without replacing the cylinders but I just got this

Good to know my new cylinders are on the way
