Bravo III Outdrive trim gauge

Hello. My outdrive trim works but the gauge does not. Any thoughts on possible causes? Thanks

From what I gather on forums, this gauge goes out every 1 to 2 years and most don't repair the sender anymore! Both of mine are inop and dont use them.

You probably don't trim that boat much anyway. Matters more on smaller boats to know what angle the drive is at. They last much longer than 1 or 2 years.

Or less. Got mine replaced in august. Works spotty. While it does work it’s not smooth. It jumps in spurts. Really only useful to tell when full up or down, which my ears can tell me. Let it go.

Hack job, shouldn't do that.
