I have 2 sets of the Mercruiser BravoIII 3x3 prop sets available. These are pitched at 22" but are cupped, making them closer to 23P.

These are off my 2007 Sea Ray 290 Sundancer and were original equipment. The props are in good shape; I just moved to the newer 4x3 propset.

Sorry, don't need the props. But, I have the same spec on my 280, and have wondered about the possible benefits of the 4x3 set. What did you choose for the 4x3 spec, and what kind of performance difference did you see?

I went with the 4x3 24P, to get some better midrange. With the new props my WOT is 4910, which is right about where it was with the 22P/cupped. Better acceleration and a smoother ride.

I am buying a 2004 270 sundeck with the 496 mag bravo three I believe it is propped with a 26 pitch which should be good for sea level. I will also be running it in Colorado at 5000
to 8000 feet do you think the 22 pitch would work well for me in Colorado?
