I must have hit something because all 3 blades on my port rear prop are cracked. the repair shop (thepropshop.com) said its not repairable.

my question is, the front prop is supposed to be left hand and the rear prop right hand, correct? My rear prop has a L stamped at the end of the part # (hand stamped, not factory looking). but the prop is clearly a right hand rotation.

has anyone seen this before. i want to make sure i buy the right prop. does the L just mean left side????

i would add a picture, but i cannot figure it out.

If it's a Merc prop, it should have a part # stamped on it. I would order the same part #.

thats the confusing part. its engraved with a part #, and then a lighter L is stamped at the end. but its clearly not a left rotation prop. I would end up ordering the wrong prop.

OK, after further reading I think the lightly engraved "L" at the end of the part # means "cupped".
