With a bravo 3 and 350 magnum is?

most 5.7`s with 260 Hp use a 1.50 ratio but again not knowing where yo go boating altitude affects gear ratio`s
If the drive is off check the tip of the input shaft for a letter

Merc customer support can tell you that info with that number if the drive is original to the boat

    Thanks form the reply.
I will check the shaft when I pull the drive for the winter.
    I was thinking 2.2:1 or 2.0:1

    My 2007 240 Sundeck 350 MAG has a 2.2 ratio.

It’s printed on a decal on the starboard side of the outdrive, up high near the top oil plug.

    I was thinking 2.2 also
The number on the side was painted over with bottom paint.
    Tried to scrape it off.
I have a call into merc.
which is local here in Wisconsin.

Mine was painted over too. I was able to use a razor blade to remove the label, from the back side in reverse print I could see that it said 2.2 ratio

Just got a call From Merc and it is a 2.2.
Went to drain the fluid and all that came out was water.
The hose between the drive and transom came off.
    Lube out water in.
    May have to replace it.

    The oil hose?

Might as well take care of everything, U-joint bellows, shift cable bellows, trim senders and oil hose

Fresh water then, could be worst. I'd flush that baby out a couple of times before I let it sit. If you've been using it regularly I'll bet you can save it

    I will do that,
Oil is cheaper than a new Drive or bearings.
I may take it to my local mechanic and have him go through it this winter just to make sure
    everything is O.K.
Was looking at Bravo threes on E bay, I might be able to get a used one for under $2000
