Bow to Beach Ladders

I have one. I do not use it very often, since with kids we always end up swimming off the stern anyway. It was on the boat when I bought it. Maybe this year I will try to use it more and see if I actually find it practical. You can see it on the bow in my signature picture.

Where do you fit this thing when not in use?

With three kids and multiple activities from water skiing, tubing, fishing, etc, we need to be concerned with how much storage area something will consume.

We do not beach every time out so I would prefer to have something that is not always in my view plus does not take up much room.

I purchased the below on sale for $89.

I store this under the forward most cushion in the V-birth along with a lot of other stuff.
When we use it I secure a line from the ladder to the bow rail. This prevents the ladder from falling if the boat moves around a bit plus it makes retrieval easier.

Where I boat, (St Croix river) most folks leave it attached to the bow all the time. It closes up nicely and we just tie it with the included nylon strap.

I have a Wesbar also and love it. It's so much easier at the beach with it and we just leave it attached and tied up to the bow rail also when underway.

Geez, been there. The next ladder i get for our pontoon is getting some sort of leash.

Presentation,

You can see mine in my signature photo attached to the bow rail. That is where I "stored" it last year. Granted I did not use it so this year I may remove it since it looks a little bit ghetto the way mine is stored.
