Hello, the joystick power button will activate, but once i try to use bow thruster it goes off. I believe it is either the thermo switch or the control box. after further review I see the wire from the thermo switch plug looks like it is not in the control box all the way (see picture attached). Any thoughts on the plug or how to check if it is the thermo switch or the control box? Or how to remove the plug? Thought I would ask before pulling plug s etc. Thank you

If you have a dedicated battery that is low/dead it could also be the issue. It does not take much power to activate the thruster but it might not have enough to supply the load needed.

Thank you Kevin, after further review it is the thermo coupler. I finally talked to a tech from Max Power, and he told me to remove one of the yellow wires from the thermo coupler and put it to a ground and if it worked the thermo coupler is bad.

Ok, changed out the control box and the thermo coupler. Seemed to solve the problem until a few days later. Doing the same thing. Leaning towards a battery condition. I am getting a reading of 28 volts at the thruster, but I cannot check under load because it clicks off.
