I was talking with my wife when she brought up a good point. What does everybody do with the bow sunpad? Do you just leave it out in the elements? I was thinking of getting a canvas made to snap on the boat too cover it when it's not used. If it was up to me I would just take it off but my vote doesn't count in our house.

It is in the attic

BTW.............by the name of our boat, can you see who has.....

Do you ever go to Fairlee?

John

I will dig out a picture later but I had a sunbrella cover made for the swim pad and the pad stays on all season. I take it off about every other time I wash the boat to clean under the pad and the pad itself.

John- We swing into Fairlee about once or twice a summer. If we are without children we stop at Jellyfish Joels for one or two.

Frank- That's kinda what I was thinking but I don't recall seeing one with a cover on it. Would be a nice option to have from Sea Ray.

Mark, you are right about a Searay option but it would cost about three times what a canvas guy would charge. We had all the canvas changed when we bought Impulse III and had a sun pad cover made in the same color (black) as the new canvas. I'll find the pictures....

I leave it attached to the bow all the time. It gets dirty, like everything else, but I wash it when I was the bow. Like Frank said, you have to cleah under it regularly, it get's kind of green under there pretty quickly.

Here is a picture

We leave ours on during the season, but we are in a covered slip and don't have spider problems in our particular slip. In the fall I take all cushions and set them in the cockpit.
