FP Marine has the factory bow rails for my 2002 360da, which was ordered without them.

Question is: can I install them without having to take down the headliner (which I'm not prepared to do)?

Thanks, Scott. I'll take a good look next time I'm at the boat.

Yes, the rails and sun pad were an option in '02. Maybe in later years they came standard. I'd like them because we'd like to have the sunpad on the bow, and although I could have the pad made and installed with snaps, I think it would look "naked" without the rails. Plus, without the rails, the snaps would be more exposed for toe stubs...

3 G's is definitely cost prohibitive. The rails from FP are $200 for the pair for my boat... I was hoping that the bolt locations might be accessible from speakers or lights in the ceiling. Probably wishful thinking.

I think it is that way for lots of owners. Our fill-in cushions for the pullout sofa are still in their original packaging - never been open in 8 years.

My girls though - wife and two daughters - like to lie out on the bow, so our sunpad - if we had one - would get a decent workout every summer.

Plus, it would give me a place to land when I inevitably pull a Chevy Chase pratfall while swabbing the deck...

I was trying to envision a sundancer without a bow rail.....that would look naked woundn't it? The sunpad rails were an $800 option when we ordered our 300. I thought the cost was crazy, but Diane thought it was a deal! She won, and uses it often.

I'm glad we have the sunpad on our boat BUT we have never use it in our 5 years. We do have it if needed.
