Put my bow flag pole last night using the set screw, and for some reason the pole leans back towards the boat. This is my first year to use the flag pole, want to run the CSR burgee. Just wanted to know if they are supposed to lean back towards the boat like that.... Robert.

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but anybody??????
Robert.

If you can't get it perfectly straight you aren't going to hurt anything, and it's not like the antenna issue with reception. Just make sure you use lock-tite on the set screw. It's no fun watching your brand new burgee and mast blow over your head and sink to the bottom.

A little impatient, are we Rob? :smt001

Did it originally mount stright up and then it just vibrated and moved a bit?

Can you just loosen the set screw and rotate the assembly a little further forward? I'm not really sure what type of flag pole you're talking about.

However, if you like it the way it is, then that's fine, too.

If it is the kind that clamps onto the rail, try taking it off and reinstalling it with a little clear silicone between it and the rail. When the silicone cures it should "lock" the clamp in place.
