Bought Vessel View to replace System View, help appreciated.

Well, after looking for months and months, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a Vessel View display and setup. Last year, I bought the System View and had it installed on my 290. I like it a lot, but I think I will like the color display more. I have Jason78's writeup from when he upgraded one and will be doing this myself. One big difference (that sort of scares me) is I have DTS and I have heard that if it is installed incorrectly, I can kill my entire engine controls and then have to pay out the nose to get it straightened out. I will try to document my way through this upgrade with pics, to add on to Jason's information and help out others who follow us.

if anyone has ever done this, or has any knowledge or experience with it, PLEASE chime in and offer your knowledge and advice. I would like to know as much as possible to ensure success. Please don't assume anything is known. No tidbit is too minuscule or insignificant to cover and what you may think I know (or anyone after me), may not be known.

Eventually I will. Was going to put it on Fleabay, but only to recoup as much as I could for upgrading to the Vessel View. Also, I don't know when I am going to get to swapping them. I will post when I swap and the System View becomes available.
 
Doing the same upgrade as my System View **** the bed. Theres a step by step how to on the forum and should take no more than and hour or so to do. I will cut the panel to fit the new unit today at work and swap the couple cables and program later tonight.
