Looking for some opinions here. I'm almost done stripping off and old coat of bottom paint and in our sanding process, we sanded through the gelcoat a little bit in a few spots on the outside corners of the chines. If I'm going to be putting 3 coats of epoxy barrier coat on for the new paint job, do I need to repair the gel coat in these areas or will the barrier coat keep the water out of the fiberglass in these small spots? They're probably like 1/4" by 1" or so if that matters. Thanks in advance.
