A couple of weeks ago, I decided to purchase a new GPS. As luck would have it Jim made a post under the electronics section promoting his electronics sale.
I really don't quite understand why BOE is so sucessful... Heck when I called, I believe Jim answered the phone and I introduced myself. I then thought it doesn't sound like I have been re-routed halfway across the world. So I asked a couple of more questions and it then Jim had the answers immediately......Wait a minute...He didn't have to check Garmin's website and look up the info. and then read it to me verbatim.... Afterwards, he then suggested a Garmin 430 which would be a better application for my purposes. How did he know this might be a better unit for me????? Once again, he did not have to go to a cheat sheet to figure this out. Mmmmh, does customer service and product knowledge still exist today???? Well it does at BOE Marine. Thanks for the 430 and vision card. I hope to be out on the lake this weekend for a trial run.
