Boating on CT river in VT

Can anyone tell me if the CT river in VT near Springfield is large enough for a 20' boat? Are there any boat launches in that area? Any input would be great. Thank you.

The furthest i have been on a friends boat was about 5 miles north of Northhampton Ma., so I don't know the answer to your question. I can tell you the river there was beautiful and so clean I could see the bottom at 12' deep.
