didn't know whether to put this in general or holding tank, soooo....
I've been think about this for the past month. I've gained some weight over the summer and noticed that others have too. Even in Gary's month long blog, I noticed that he put on a few pounds.
Now is this because we age a little more? or is there something more to it?
While boating this season, I noticed that bigger boat guys are fatter than smaller boat guys.
This got me thinking... Do boaters that get fatter buy bigger boats to have more space? or do they grow to fill the space? maybe some dormant fish gene that kicks into action when on the water. You remember when you had those goldfish as a kid, stayed a certain size until you bought a bigger tank.
I'm sure there has been a survey somewhere that can prove it. Or maybe there's a formula to figure out how much weight you can expect to gain with a boat size increase?
Now what I do notice is that the more weight I gain, the more I go to boat shows. There seems to be an uncontrollable desire to move up in boat size as my waste size increases. Same with my GF.
But it's not all bad news I guess. I know that time moves slower around larger masses. Maybe fat boaters enjoy a longer season? Maybe their skinny friends live longer which means they can help clean the boat as we age?
