anybody know someone in the Nashville/Chattanooga area? May need to move my 34' EC...

Yes. Call Bo and Kim Smith of Smiths Boat Salvage in Jackson Mississippi. They moved my 370 Sundancer from Sarasota Florida to Huntsville Alabama. A very pleasant experience!

Hey there Redneck Joe. Sold the 200CC at the end of the season. Great boat but still had the itch for a cruiser. Good to see you here. Avanti's looking great!!!

a bayliner owner infiltrating your site....
Joe, Are you lost & can't find your way back home ??..

Heres the directions .. www.baylinerownerscrapclub.org .

Its nice seeing you here, :smt038. I think you were on my friends list over there. :smt001
Jim aka Pier Pressure banned me for life from BOC !!. :smt043

hey Wayne, wondered if that was you. Yeah things got a bit weird over there for awhile. You want a place to shoot a lot of bull and occasionally talk about boats, follow the link below - it was pretty much started by a bunch of us that got banned (or just fed up with) from The Hull Truth.

CR- yep!! That's why we sold it to you! Thought we'd like the advantages of the smaller trailer boat but nope! Spent a lot of time working on Easy Rider, most things good but having a freon leak in Alabama this time of the year makes for a hot night - and starboard is overheating but that's for another thread (or read up http://tnfreebird.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=technicaldiscussion&action=display&thread=15443&page=1 and pm me any suggestions)

370 - thanks I will give them a chance to bid. Thinking maybe a more local start point would give me a lower price? May I ask what you paid? Also, was that in water? Last time I check for a transport from Lanier to Tim's Ford a couple of them said I had to arrange to get in the water and Tim's has no lifts.

Tim's has several really long ramps but no lifts. Most truckers launch from the trailer. I've seen 80 ft house boats, a Sea Ray 340DA, a 400EC and a 390EC launched from trailers at the marina nearest the boat store, here:

Talking the trucker into dunking his trailer is another issue, but it shouldn't be a problem in freshwater. Loading is also important since the boat must float off the trailer instead of being lifted vertically.

I see you tried to sign up; it takes an admin to 'approve'. I'll PM randy and you should be good to go tomorrow at the latest; he is in the mountains with the boy this weekend (small niche 'boat' site so only one admin)

check your PM here.

never used that ramp; but good breakfast tho'...

We launched our Bayliner 2550 at State Park - fairlyy steep ramp. :wow:

I know a guy in Knoxville but he is currently on the 'Great Loop' trip and wont be back for quite a bit. I also have a trailer avail to me, but moving that far and backing down those ramps kinda scare me. I have a 3500 Cummins but pretty sure the boat and trailer would outweigh me and i don't like that math - I've always outweighed my boats...

This isn't the state park ramp.......its the one behind the boat store. I don't believe it is as steep as the one at the park.....and it will make your nose bleed.

my potential new marina recommended Danny Hunter, from Murfreesboro, Tn.

anybody used/heard of him?
