Boat Races in Tampa

is anyone going to the boat races tomorrow? I am trying to launch from seminole boat ramp, because I have gotten use to there, and anchor in by clearwater beach. I hope I am allowed to do that if you want info here is the link, however, I don't know exactly what time it will start but I think they saying around 3 and we should be there around that time :) . I am leaving my house around 11 and will be there at the ramp around 12 :). Then I think its about a 5 min ride max not sure but I will use my navionics on my phone. It is close to it but I am having an issue with is where exactly do I park the boat

They ain't makin it easy. Best I have come up with.

so just anchor in at the beach? That is confusing lol but I guess the races are on sunday not tomorrow, I thought it was going to start a race tomorrow and then a few on saturday and the best ones on saturday but I was wrong LOL this makes no sense to me lol

do you think it would be best not to launch from seminole boat ramp, due to the fact that is where everyone will be lol
 
I was just checking this out and found nothing about spectator boat areas and rules. Many years ago our lake in Dallas hosted the big hydroplane boat races (think Miss Budweiser) and there were clear areas you could anchor and strict times you could move in and out of those areas. I don't see any of that information on the race website. I guess you just approach from the west and anchor somewhere amongst the line of boats along the course.

I'm supposed to be pulling my boat on Sunday and doing all the clean-up and prep I do when leaving it for a couple of months, but now I'm wondering if I can run down there and squeeze a couple races in just for the experience. It'll be cutting it close because we leave Monday.

I plan on going out there today and tomorrow. I didn't make it yesterday. Hopefully by 2-year-old is feeling better because we have church today as well
