The last boat I owned I painted from top to bottom. Was it a job sure. Although once done the yearly maintenance was just like owning a four wheel vehicle. Wash it in the spring throw a quick coat of wax on it by hand and launch. I have to wonder yearly cost to have boat buffed and waxed compared to having it painted when first bought.
