Boat Lift

I just want to double check this.

My SeaRay 220 SD is rated at what 4600 lbs dry..

So I assume a lift rated for 5700 lbs would be ok? Or should I upgrade to the 8000?

5,700 will be fine. Do you see yourself upgrading to a larger boat in a couple of years? How much more is the 8,000lb? Might be something to consider.

Sounds like a no brainer to me. Upgradability is a good thing.

How much are they getting for the whole job?

When I was shopping, going from 10K to 13K was also $500 (on what was estimated to be a $17K job. . .all in with electrics and State permits)

The boat house and lift are already there. So I'm just going to upgrade it.
