Boat insurance question

I believe for the outdrives coverage the boat needs to be 10yo or less. I’ll see if I can cut and paste the verbiage.

“Propulsion Plus pays to repair or replace the lower unit of an outboard motor and the upper/lower units of an inboard/outboard motor in the event of a mechanical breakdown, including those caused by wear and tear.

To purchase Propulsion Plus, the watercraft can’t be more than 10 years old. And it must have Comprehensive, Collision, and Sign & Glide Coverages. Propulsion Plus can remain on the watercraft until it reaches 21 years old.”

When using this coverage, a $250 deductible is required.

Heads up: Propulsion Plus does not cover breakdowns that occur within 30 days of the purchase date of the coverage
This. I got in just under the wire.

I have Travelers, my coverage has not changed but my premium went from $1250 to $1500 for no reason what so ever, but it includes mechanical breakdown so I am not going anywhere.
