Insurance due and went up have never had a claim so thought I get some quotes. Got seven quotes in the amounts of $2900.00 To $3600.00 per year. Then the eight from BoatUS $7300.00 with the least coverage so thought maybe a mistake go called them up no that is correct but we have the best insurance watch what you bye I should hope so lol.
My question who does everyone have there insurance with and do you like them and is BoatUS just that high are don't want to insure anyone on the gulf coast.

I was getting crazy quotes as well so my boat broker recommended I use a boat insurance broker and I'm thrilled I did. He got quotes from a bunch of different companies and scored me a GREAT policy with comprehensive coverage and a low deductible for my 2004 420DB for just over $1,000.

I've included his Bob's info below. He's in RI but I imagine he can get you coverage anywhere in the US because my boat is on the Chesapeake in MD.

I got several quotes, all seemed expensive, when I purchased my boat a couple years ago. The finance company recommended Marks Insurance Group (856-344-4050), in NJ. Had best pricing, ACE Insurance, under $800. We travel all of the Chesapeake & get riders when we want travel further, still cheap. Highly recommend the broker & ACE.

Thanks Will look at all the recommendations right now Have it with NOBA and is $3500.00 with agreed value at 200k BoatUS was with a value of 125k with $8000.00 Storm Deductible . On the gulf coast we are paying a lot more than the prices you other members have told me.
