Folks I'm looking for a selection of restaurants on Boca Ciega Bay, Tampa Bay Florida that have docks that can accommodate a 35' Carver. I want to just stop for lunch or dinner and be a able to tie up for an hour or two. Any recommendations?
Thanks

Just a bit north of boca ciega is Salt rock grill for dinner and the Pub in Indian Shores for lunch and dinner. Further to the north in Clearwater is Frenchy's and Island way grill. All have decent docking.

For us northerners, you guys are making use envious... Our boat a winterized and you are talking about going to restaurants by boat... NOT FAIR:smt021.... Soon well be will be able to walk to water front restaurants on the ice...:smt101

Awww, come on down the weather is great, I think 78 today for a high. :)

Many choices in Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg. Downtown St. Pete has courtesy docks where you pay a meter- $1 per hour. There is a slip reserved for boats 35' and up. You would then have access to all of the restaurants fo downtown St. Pete, which there are many. An alternative would be the Vinoy. I think they allow up to a 4 hour stay for free if you use one of their restaurants...Tampa has the Marriott downtown which also allows for transient dockage when using their restaurant. On the West side of Tampa their is Hula Bay, also with easy access floating docks.

For you northerners, see attached.

The only only blessing we have up here, is we save money on gas, and I will be skiing on Friday.... Snow Skiing...

Thanks guys for all your inputs.
If I remember right, Salt Rock is a little upitty to just drop in for lunch in shorts and a T shirt. I didn't know they had docks so that's good to know. The Pub looks very promising, we'll check it out soon, thanks.

Considering St Pete, I really like the area and we took advantage of it last August by staying at the docks at the Vinoy. A little rough, actually very rough with an east wind as I think Big Daddy II mentioned at the time.

Mystic Dreamer; where in St Pete are the metered docks, St Pete Muni??
