Boat fire Long Island Sound ?

A week or so ago there was a boat fire around middle ground. Anyone know the cause?[ a buddy of mine took a ride to see. There were 3 passengers , all are safe. A fishing boat picked them up.ATTACH=full]58951[/ATTACH]

I was on cedar beach Long Island when that happened, it was crazy, lots of boats started heading out to help.
